Q: What can you tell me about your staff?
A: Residential Pines is privately owned and operated with the owner and staff living on site.
Our caregivers have been with us for over five years and
are all trained in CPR, first aid, and providing assistance with activities
of daily living.

Q: How many residents do you have?
A: Residential Pines has the ability and bed space to care for
up to 12 residents.

Q: What is included in the monthly cost?
A: Everything is included except medication.

Q: Will Residential Pines take care of my
loved ones laundry?
A: Yes, we wash your loved ones personal laundry and
linens daily. We use anti-bacterial detergent, stain remover, bleach,
and fabric softener. All laundry is hung or folded and returned to
the residents room.

Q: Is there someone to assist my
mother with eating?
A: All meals are served family style at either of
two dining tables. Staff is present at all times to assist any resident
needing help with feeding or cueing when feeding themselves.

Q: Can my father bring his dog
or cat to live with him?
A: Residents are not allowed to have pets living
here with them, but their family is welcome to bring pets for a
visit anytime. We also have a menagerie of dogs, cats, ducks, geese
and swans here for our residents enjoyment.

Q: Are the living spaces attractive
and comfortable?
A: Yes, we offer both private and semi-private
rooms that are tastefully furnished and decorated. All you need
to bring is some family pictures to make them feel at home.

Q: How will my mom get to
her Doctor's appointment?
A: We will personally take your loved one
to any appointment in our car or by local wheelchair accessible
van for a fee of $10.00 per hour.

Q: Do you do anything special
for birthdays or holidays?
A: Yes, because you are now an extended
part of our family, we invite you to take part in the celebrations
and parties that occur on these special days. Birthdays are
celebrated with cakes, singing, and residents favorite foods.
Holidays are for feasting and all families are invited to
join their loved ones for dinner.

Q: What activities are
planned for the residents?
A: We offer something for all interests
including physical exercise, cognitive exercise for dementia
related disorders, current events, weekend movies and popcorn,
visitors from local churches, music on our piano, animal
therapy, and weekly trips to the local High School Cosmetology
Department for haircuts, perms , colors, and nail care.
We also have an outdoor dining area for residents and families
to enjoy, weather permitting.
